  • Migration Agents Registration Authority Code of Conduct – The Code is intended to regulate the conduct of Registered Migration Agents in Australia. It sets out the standard expected of agents, in addition to what you should expect from using a professional Registered Migration Agent.
  • Department of Immigration & Border Protection – Provides a wealth of information on Australia’s many visas, as well as information on Citizenship.
  • Consumer Guide – Provides information about the migration advice profession, OMARA and what to expect from a migration agent.  Registered Migration Agents are required to provide this consumer guide (in English) to clients after agreeing to do work for them but before commencing that work.
  • Skilled Occupations List (SOL)  - relevant for applicants for:
    • independent points-based skilled migration who are not nominated by a state or territory government agency
    • a Family Sponsored Points Tested visa
    • Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) - Graduate Work stream.
  • The Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List (CSOL) -  relevant for applicants for:
    • points-based skilled migration who are nominated by a state or territory government agency under a State Migration Plan
    • the Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS), who must have been nominated by an Australian employer to fill a position in an occupation that appears in the CSOL
    • Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457)
    • Training and Research visa (subclass 402)
